Meet the

Artist

Hi, I'm Oliver. I'm a gardener by day and freelance visual artist by night. I make whimsical, colorful pieces that center around plants. I work in different mediums: acrylics, watercolors, gouache and digital. But these days I’m mostly an acrylic painter. Much of my inspiration comes from nature and botany along with the work of commercial background artist who create stunning environments. I grew up on a lot of cartoons and video games and I can see the influence environmental art has had on my current paintings. I use a lot of bright saturated colors and enjoy contrasting organic forms with simple geometric shapes, giving the pieces a playful, fantastical feel.
